Window 8 CompatibleURLEnDecode encodes and decodes Stings. When information is passed via a URL (uniform resource locator or more commonly web address), only specific allowed characters can be used. Other characters should be encoded to ensure they are passed accurately. URL Encoding replaces reserved (unsafe) characters with % followed by the 2 digit hex equivalent. This is also known as percent-encoding. In the program selecting the String Type option will encode spaces with a +, selecting the URL Type option will encode spaces with %20.
